School Spirit Shines at Pep Rally!

Staff and students came together on Friday, October 16th to celebrate school spirit in our first pep rally of the year! The dance and cheerleading teams kicked off the celebration with an impressive performance showcasing their talent. Students competed in fun activities and competitions while fall sports teams and the rest of the student body cheered them on from the stands. It was a great way to kick off Homecoming weekend and build lasting memories.

Pathways Freshmen Engage in Mock Interviews

As part of our new Pathways Program, our 9th-grade students at South Hunterdon Regional High School participated today in mock job interviews with community volunteers!

Students were challenged to imagine themselves 10 years into the future, in 2036, creating resumes and identifying job opportunities aligned with their career interests. They then put their preparation to the test through one-on-one interviews with community members who provided valuable feedback.

The experience focused on developing essential skills such as communication, confidence, problem-solving, and professionalism, all skills that will benefit our students regardless of the career paths they choose.
Three distinct panels show pairs of people sitting in folding chairs, engaged in conversation within an auditorium setting.
A special thank you to our community members who generously volunteered their time to serve as interviewers! Their willingness to share their experiences, provide constructive feedback, and support our students made this an incredibly valuable learning opportunity.

We also want to recognize and thank Mr. McManus for organizing and coordinating this meaningful experience for our freshmen! This is what our Pathways Program is all about: Connecting classroom learning to real-world experiences and preparing students for life beyond high school!
