Talent Show

The annual HS Talent Show included thirteen acts this year. We had wonderful solos, duets, and even a rock band perform. It was a great to see so many students show off their amazing talents!

TCNJ Choral Invitational

Students in HS Concert Choir were accepted to perform at the TCNJ Choral Invitational on May 1st. They worked on their concert music in clinics with renowned composer Andrea Ramsey and professor Heather Mitchell, observed other HS choirs perform, and learned three new pieces with the rest of the attending choirs. It was a great day of singing!

Hunterdon County Teen Arts Festival

South Hunterdon student artists and performers showcased their work at the Hunterdon County Teen Arts Festival which took place on April 29th at the Hunterdon County Library. This annual event showcases the unique talents of students who participate in visual art, theatrical presentations, dance, vocal and instrumental music performances, and presentations original film and creative writing. 

At the event, over 600 students from 14 schools were able to experience the work of their peers and receive constructive feedback from professional artists. The wide variety of art being celebrated included a
 poetry wall, film screening, visual art displays, 15 vocal music performances, 18 theatre and musical theatre performances, six dance performances, 11 instrumental music performances. 

Congratulations to the talented visual and performing art teachers and students who represented South Hunterdon at the event!

Congratulations to Mrs. DiStaulo and the cast and crew of Into the Woods! After representing South Hunterdon at the 2026 Hunterdon County Arts Festival, they were selected to perform at New Jersey State Teen Arts Festival in early June. Their hard work showed through their amazing performance.

Chat & Crew

Students took a break from their hectic week to enjoy another round of Chat & Crew in the library. Each month, students gather for snacks and a craft. This month, Hunterdon County Teen Librarian Sarah led a relaxing craft making twisted turtles! It was a great time!


Student Achievements

Two smiling individuals, Trevor Lingerfield and Jiondae Dewald, are recognized as Skyland Conference Scholar Athletes.

Congratulations to our 2026 Skyland Conference Scholar Athletes! 

Jiondae DeWald earned varsity letters in Soccer, Basketball, and Track, and will continue her academic journey at Franklin & Marshall this fall. Trever Lingerfield lettered in Baseball and will be continuing his baseball career at Susquehanna University. 

We are proud to recognize their hard work, dedication, and commitment both in the classroom and in competition. Best of luck at the next level!

Jiondae Dewald is recognized as Student of the Month for April at South Hunterdon Regional High School.

Tri-M Music Honor Society

Students in the music department applied to the Tri-M Music Honor Society and were inducted March 19. They received a certificate and a pin in recognition of their acceptance. We are so proud of them!
