December Staff Member of the Month

Congratulations to Mrs. Sharon Kilmer for being named the December Staff Member of the Month! One of her coworkers explained, "Mrs. Kilmer has worked above and beyond with the teachers she collaborates with in chemistry class. She is constantly modifying work, sharing it with her coworkers and making it accessible to all students. It is a pleasure to work with her."

Thank you, Mrs. Kilmer, for all that you do for South Hunterdon.

December Student & Athlete of the Month

Congratulations to Breanna Tustison and Naylene Smart for being named the Student and Athlete of the month, respectively.

December Student of the Month: Breanna Tustison

Breanna's academic standards & commitment are top notch, and her work with the GSA club further exemplifies the positive influence she has on her peers.

Breanna is a self-directed and thorough leader who has helped increase club visibility while strengthening bonds between club members and raising money for club t-shirts. Her positive attitude, respectful and kind disposition, and overall eagerness to make the world around her better really help her stand out as a South student.

December Athlete of the Month: Naylene Smart

Naylene Smart was recognized for her performance on the bowling team. She has a positive and encouraging attitude and is dedicated to always improving. Her leadership role as co-captain also helps set the tone for her teammates.

In addition to her experience on the bowling team, Naylene is a thoughtful and committed artist who has a passion for makeup. She hopes to pursue an artistic field and study art in college.

Embark on a magical journey with South Hunterdon High School’s production of Into the Woods! This beloved musical weaves together the tales of classic fairy-tale characters — Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack (of beanstalk fame), and Rapunzel — as they venture into the woods to pursue their deepest desires. Along the way, they discover that wishes come with consequences, and happily ever after isn’t always what it seems. Full of heart, humor, and unforgettable songs by Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine, Into the Woods reminds us that life’s twists and turns are part of our own stories.

Tickets go on sale Friday, January 16, 2026. Don’t miss your chance to experience this enchanting musical adventure performed by our talented students!
