The New Jersey Graduation Proficiency Assessment (NJGPA) will be administered to all 11th grade students on March 16, 18, 19, and 20. We will be following a delayed opening schedule for grades 9, 10, & 12 on those days.
Besides the Mercer bus, which will only operate on its regular schedule, all other buses will run their normal routes for tested students as well as a delayed schedule for non-tested students. Students who are not testing but arrive at the regular school start time will report to the auditorium until testing has concluded. Please make sure to be at your bus stops earlier than normal as runs will start slightly earlier (leaving South at 9:10). Also note- there is no AM Polytech on testing days.
The NJGPA is a state-required assessment designed to measure student proficiency in English Language Arts and Mathematics and to ensure that students demonstrate the skills and knowledge necessary for high school graduation. The assessment aligns with New Jersey Student Learning Standards and serves as one of the pathways students may use to meet the state’s graduation requirements, while also providing schools with important information to support student learning and progress.
