The Lambertville Estate

On Tuesday, February 10, twelve members of the Key Club went to The Lambertville Estate to work on some Valentine's Day crafts with the residents who live there.  They made felt heart decorations to hang on their doors, complete with bows and jewels, and spent time working on coloring a large tablecloth for their dining table.  Both students and residents enjoyed the crafts, some delicious snacks, and, most importantly, they all enjoyed having meaningful conversations.  We look forward to heading back there in the Spring!

Embark on a magical journey with South Hunterdon High School’s production of Into the Woods! This beloved musical weaves together the tales of classic fairy-tale characters — Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack (of beanstalk fame), and Rapunzel — as they venture into the woods to pursue their deepest desires. Along the way, they discover that wishes come with consequences, and happily ever after isn’t always what it seems. Full of heart, humor, and unforgettable songs by Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine, Into the Woods reminds us that life’s twists and turns are part of our own stories.

Student Spotlight: YZ Crochet

Thanks to some supportive guidance from their art teacher Ms. Joanna Netta, South Hunterdon seniors Yeselin Recinos and Zachary Naughton have teamed up to create YZ Crochet, an online business that sells Yeselin's creative and intricate crochet designs. From clothing to tapestries to small plushies and more, Yeselin has been hard at work creating practical and pretty incredible works of art. Meanwhile, her classmate Zachary has helped Yeselin share her gift with the world by applying his knack for photography and website design to showcase the yarn products.
