Grow-A-Row

Earlier this month, Mr. Monaco's Agriculture students got some hands-on farming experience while giving back to the community at America's Grow-a-Row. South Hunterdon students spent the morning volunteering alongside other NJ students from Immaculata, Long Valley and Hillside to harvest 16,435 lbs of potatoes for food banks in our area. For context, that's about 65,740 servings going to support our neighbors in need!

Fall Play

On October 9, the South Hunterdon Regional High School Theatre Program presented its fall play, Tracks by Peter Tarsi. Over fifteen talented South students brought this thought-provoking production to life, exploring themes of morality, choice, and connection in a mysterious subway station setting. The performance was both well-attended and warmly received, earning praise from audience members for its powerful ensemble work and engaging storytelling.

The Theatre Program now looks ahead to its next production, The Broadway Café—a miscast cabaret performance—taking place on November 20. Audiences can expect an evening of surprises, creativity, and unforgettable performances from South’s talented students.

Student Spotlight

One of the many ways that the Lambertville Area Education Foundation (LAEF) has supported South Hunterdon students is the LAEF Summer Scholarship Program. Thanks to an LAEF grant, Wyatt Ellis was able to attend Maine College of Art & Design to explore his interest in comic book art and animation.
