In celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the South Hunterdon Key Club spent Wednesday volunteering at the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen, serving a chili lunch to over 240 guests and distributing an additional 100 to-go meals. Members contributed by preparing desserts, serving coffee, salads, and meals, and assisting in the computer lab. They also worked together to prepare a manicotti dinner for later distribution.
The experience was both meaningful and rewarding, reflecting our club’s dedication to service and community support. Special thanks go to Ariel McKain, Olivia Nemeth, Wayne Heisler, Trevor Lingerfield, Evan Bice, Erin O'Rourke, Lauren Zuniga, Amelia Carlucci, Ruth Martinez, Brooke Paciulli, Adriana Soto, Abigail Titus Greve, Charlotte Titus Greve, Scarlett Vaverance, Caitlin Webb, and Mr. Tom Bill for their commitment to making a difference. Also, thank you to Mrs. Grgurich and Mrs. Devlin, Key Club advisors, for planning the trip.
