Environmental Club Field Trip

Earlier today, Environmental Club and Ms. Bentzinger teamed up with Friends of Hopewell Valley Open Space at Baldpate Mountain to learn about local native and invasive species, do some fall cleanup, and remove invasives around their native plant “islands” to support local bird populations and other wildlife. Students also learned about the summer internship program they’d be eligible for after graduation. As a bonus, we took a short hike to two geocaches on site.
