Today is a B day- A4 lunch

Attention Students who Need Community Service Hours. There is a great opportunity to earn community service hours and have fun while doing so. You can earn up to 4 hours by volunteering to assist with the Fall Festival here at South on Saturday, October 21st. Please see Ms. Christofely during unit lunch it you are interested.

We have another scholarship, and this one is open to students in grades 5-12 to be recognized for their community service. Go onto your Naviance account in the Scholarship section for information and then apply online.

Middle school students interested in participating in the after school gatorball intermural club that begins Tuesday October 24 should see Mr. Ruvolo in B106 to sign up or for more information.

Attention all HS students. Please check your email for Homecoming Court Nominations. All nominations are due by October 24th.

Dance Club meets THIS Friday from 3-5. See Miss Cavanaugh with any questions.

All middle school and high school boys interested in buying the basketball team sneakers please see Mr. Hart for an order form. Sneaker forms should be returned by November 5th at the latest.

What do you do with the Amazon box after you’ve unpacked it? Well, what you should do is recycle it. Recycling cardboard only uses 75% of the energy needed to make new cardboard. And, recycling 1 ton of cardboard saves 46 gallons of oil. Since over 90% of all products shipped in the US are shipped in corrugated cardboard boxes, we can make a really big impact if all that cardboard was recycled. So the next time the mailman leaves a package on your doorstep, recycle it.

Picture Retake Day is Tuesday, Oct. 24th in the morning. Picture forms are in the main office. If you are retaking your picture, please return your old picture to the photographer. Students will be called down for retakes throughout the morning.

If any high school boys would like to be a part of Outdoor Ed this year at Fairview Lake see Mr Ward as he needs 7 more boys for this year's trip between November 14th and 17th.

On Tuesday the girls’ varsity soccer team won their game 4-3 over Manville. Hat trick by Allie Magas and goal by Emily Smith. Well done ladies.
